I want to apply at the university of Madinah, but the applicant must not exceed at the age of 25.
Are there possiblities that you can apply over the age of 25 or is there a limit?
Thanks for your effort and my allah reward you.

Firstly I’m not from the US, I’m from the UK. I couldn’t find the actual university website and hence I’m using this one.
Does the university do one year studies, because I would like to take a gap year?

The official website for the University is http://www.IU.EDU.SA there you can find the address and the application form.
The age limit is 25 but there are exceptions to the rule. There are no fees in the university. If a student gets accepted he will be a full scholarship student. There is no set requirement for memorizing the Quran except for the faculty of the Quran. Students who do not speak Arabic will enroll in the Institue of Arabic Language upon acceptance. If you want to apply have all the required documents and come for a personal interview to increase your chances.

As-Salamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahe wa Barakatuhu.
Hello, I would like to please know the same as stated above about the transcript which I get at the end of the year in the U.S. Also, could you please inform me about whether personal letter(s) of recommendation are required from known Islamic institutions as this is sometimes quite hard to get depending on which part of the country we live in. Please reply back.

Asalamualaykum,
I was just wondering if anyone Knows the date when the names of those who are accepted to the university will be put up. Another question is if a person does not live in the dorms and has his own apartment will he still get the money that the university give out monthly or not.

Salam Alekom,
Dear brothers in Islam. I’m 21 years Saudi guy and living proudly in my beloved Prophet’s city.
And as eager as I’m to always get better and become a great Muslim. I always surrounded myself with the best people I could ever possibly find. However, as I grew up it kind of got difficult due to the fact that all of my friends either moved to another city to continue studying or got married..
So, I’m hereby to ask of all of you in the Islamic university of Madina. To contact me at:
msammaa@hotmail.com
P.S Feel free to include your cellphone number so we arrange a meeting faster.
Sincerely,
Mustafa

Hi I’m a Muslim revert from America and I was hoping for information about the university. I want to apply for the 2010-2011 academic year. I wanted to know if someone could give me an estimate of about how much it will cost, how to apply, and how hard it is to get in. I currently don’t know Arabic or a lot of Qur’an, but I am studying Islam constantly, and a friend of mine said they would teach me Arabic at the university. Any information would help.
